Tone Tag Master List
Tone tags are a simple way of making the intended tone or meaning of a message clearer.

This is a master list of tone tags, including their meanings/uses, sorted into useful groups!

If you believe any are missing from this list, please contact me!
Tone Tag Prefixes

While many choose to add specificity by simply using multiple tone tags (e.g. /silly /j), a common feature of tone tags is that (in many cases) they can be modified using prefixes (common prefixes are highlighted in the table below) or combined.

Some common combos involve /ay (at you) and /aa (at anyone), such as /nmay (“not mad” + “at you”), or /lh (light-hearted), such as /lhs (light-heartedly sarcastic).

n
na
(Not) e.g. /nsrs - not serious
(Not A) /nabr - not a brag
v (very) e.g. /vpos - very positive
l (little / lightly) e.g. /lot - little off topic
/lu - lightly upset
s (slightly) e.g. /sann - slightly annoyed
h (half) e.g. /hj - half joking
*This seems to be the least agreed on when it comes to its specific use! If in doubt, ask the user!
